Red Carpet Ready Hair
I guess I’m a little too literal but I always thought that my GHD flat iron was for one specific use: straightening. It’s in the name. So I have my seperate curling irons for when I want to curl my hair and I use my GHD hair straightener for everyday straightening. It seemed logical to me. Until I saw this picture of Amanda Seyfried looking lovely with straightened locks that had a beautiful curl at the tips. My first thought was that I’d have to straighten my hair all over and then have my curling iron ready to go so I could curl it on the ends. And then I got frustrated with the idea of plugging in all of those appliances and thought, Who am I kidding? Amanda has stylists on call! I can’t get that look!
….And then I looked at my hair straightener and thought, It’s kind of rounded around the edges. I wonder what would happen if I just used it like a curling iron? Wrap the section around and curl the ends after I straighten from the root?
I’ll tell you what happened. I got red carpet ready hair by using only one tool. Take that, Hollywood stylists! All I need is my GHD hair straightener to make movie magic happen!
