Naturally straight hair? As if!

Perfect hair like Alicia Silverstone's from Clueless

My hair is naturally curly.  It has been all my life.  What is so funny is that for the past five years, I have been using my GHD hair straightener on a regular basis and my girlfriends at work had no idea that my hair wasn’t naturally straight!  We were out for happy hour the other night and we were going around the table and saying our first impressions of each other.  My friend Ashley - who has adorably cute curly hair - said to me that she has been terribly jealous of me ever since we met because I have such pretty, straight hair.  I almost fell off of my chair!  She kept talking and saying that she was getting over it but she had always wanted hair like mine - it reminds her of Alicia Silverstone’s from Clueless.  She had been wanting hair like mine since she was in middle school.   After I got over my shock, I said, “Honey, stop wishing and start having!  I’ve been using a GHD hair straightener for the past five years.  You should have seen me in middle school - I was a far far cry from hair royalty.  I was…clueless.”  We had  a good laugh and Ashley went and got a GHD hair straightener the next day…now she looks as perfectly coiffed as she always wanted!
